Not Mine But Me is a three part comic I wrote and illustrated in my last semester of university. 

As I was going through my final year in college, I realized that my interest in Japanese animation and comics, a hobby that started since I was in elementary school, led me to find the friends and communities whom I’ve created my best memories with. This inspired me to capture more anecdotes surrounding my interest in Japanese culture and sharing these moments to help others and myself understand why I am the way I am.

This zine ultimately became a thank you letter to the communities and friends whose lives I was a part of and whom I had to leave behind as I started a new life chapter as a working adult.
